Magnets Part 1: Interaction between magnet and another object
Duration: About 1 hour
Students will investigate the interaction between a magnet and a non magnet as well as the interaction between two magnets. They will recognize how a compass uses a magnet to indicate direction. They will also learn how to handle relevant concept-application questions and further develop their process skills and thinking skills. The process skills that will be developed through this lesson are: Observing, Comparing, Classifying, Using datalogger equipment and Inferring.
