Human Systems Part 2: Human Circulatory and Respiratory Systems
Duration: About 1 hour
Student will recognize the organs and the functions of a human respiratory system and how air enters and leaves a human respiratory system. They will investigate the air that we breathe in and breathe out using an MGA datalogger with an oxygen gas sensor as well as recognize how the human respiratory and circulatory systems work together to perform the combined functions. They will learn how to handle relevant concept-application questions and further develop their process and thinking skills. The process skills that will be developed through this lesson are: Observing, Comparing, Using datalogger equipment, Inferring and Analyzing.
