Forces Part 3: Forces and Movement of an object on an Inclined Plank
Duration: About 1 hour
Students will investigate how the angle of inclination affects the gravitational force acting on an object along an inclined plank using an MGA datalogger with a force sensor and the forces and movement of a block on an inclined plank with and without powder on the plank. They will learn how to handle relevant concept-application questions and further develop their process and thinking skills. The process skills that will be developed through this lesson are: Observing, Comparing, Using datalogger equipment, Inferring, Analyzing and Predicting.
