Energy Part 2: Energy and Force

Students will recognize the relationship between energy and force and demonstrate that a force is produced when a moving object hits an object at rest using an MGA datalogger with a force sensor. They will investigate the sound energy produced when a moving object hits an object at rest using an MGA datalogger with a sound sensor. They will learn how to handle relevant concept-application questions and further develop their process and thinking skills. The process skills that will be developed through this lesson are: Observing, Comparing, Using datalogger equipment, Inferring and Analyzing.
